Limits
Serverless bills compute, storage, egress, and AI usage separately. Elastic lists $4.50 per million input tokens and $21 per million output tokens for Managed LLM; Workflows and Agent Builder each start with a monthly allowance. Elastic says it does not use customer data to train its own AI models or third-party models used through Managed LLM. Separately connected third-party models have their own data terms.

FAQ
Is Elastic AI available for free?
Yes. A permanently free plan is published, not a time-limited trial.
Where is the vendor of Elastic AI based?
Elastic is based in the USA. Regardless of that location, data processing and privacy terms are governed by the vendor's own contract.
What plans does Elastic AI offer?
The catalog documents one plan with price, billing period, and included features.
Is Elastic AI currently available?
Elastic AI is still active. Search AI is Elastic's AI layer on the Elastic Stack: semantic search, vector database, RAG playground, AI Assistant and agentic workflows for search, observability and security. Available as an open-source core (self-hosted), Elastic Cloud Hosted, or serverless.
How we compare
We compare free access, paid entry, plan limits, features and the listed official sources. Unsourced figures stay marked as not published.
Only confirmed entries appear in the catalog. Prices, plans and limits come from listed official vendor pages. Missing figures stay marked as not published. Search results are ordered by Task match by default; category and task lists are alphabetical. Both can be switched to Free access first; neither is a quality ranking. The vendor page always wins.
