FLUX from Black Forest Labs includes image and video models. FLUX.2 generates and edits images using references; FLUX 3 is a preview model for video with synchronised sound. Text or image inputs produce clips of 5 to 20 seconds; continuation of existing video produces 5 to 15 seconds. FHD output uses an upsampler; the documentation specifies 1920 × 1088 pixels for 16:9.
For your own infrastructure, FLUX.2 [klein] 4B is available under Apache 2.0. Other open models have different licence conditions. The API and Playground charge by usage; self-hosting, commercial model licences and compute costs are separate.
